Branded as their control-oriented wave sail, it features a 5-batten outline that matches or even outperforms many 4-batten sails in terms of weightan impressive feat. When rigged to spec, the Blade shows a pleasing, progressive fall-away down the leech on the top three panels. The 2025 Blade incorporates some exciting new features. By utilizing X-Fusion technology, Severne ultrasonically welds the foot panels, eliminating the need for stitching. This results in a lighter, more responsive sail with enhanced durability. Severne has also applied its proprietary Gradient Panel Technology, an innovative approach that reduces weight, increases strength, and controls stretch, helping the Blade fully exploit its control characteristics.
