- CISURFBOARDS.COMField Notes: Episode 2 - RinconOn the heels of Britt Merrick and Brent Power (CIs Team Manager ) spending a few weeks on Oahu's North Shore to dial in quivers for CI's CT 2024 Surfers, they arrived back home in Carpinteria, CA just in time for the holidays and one of the best swells in years. This is a welcome time of year for Britt and the team to work on new testing new designs. As luck would have it, Mikey February had just wrapped a few weeks stay in Hawaii for Pipe Masters and was wanting some CI backyard time to surf and work on designs with Britt. He couldnt have timed it any better, enjoying the build up, peak and post surfs of the two back-to-back swells. This video showcases the days leading up to the two back-to-back winter swells at Rincon and during, as well as some nearby beach break action. It gives a peek into the spaces where we test designs just a few minutes away from our factory.Other surfers that were around during that time include: Dane Reynolds, Dane Gudauskas, Lakey Peterson, Eithan Osborne, Devon Howard, Wayne Rich, Bella Kenworthy, Jabe Swierkocki, Josiah Amico, Jak Zietz, Andrew Jacobson, and Cole McCaffrey.Special thanks to Merrick Lager for rounded out the good vibes.Edit by Ryan PerryFilmed primarily by Ryan Perry, Brent Power, and Ian Grose with water by Scott Soens0 Comments 0 Shares 179 Views
